When are you celebrating Halloween 2010, Saturday or Sunday? In the past thirty years Halloween has only fallen on a Sunday four times – in 2004, 1999, 1993, and 1982. Also I’m curious, as an adult do you dress up or go to parties, too, or is Halloween just for the kids?

Sometimes it’s nice with so much negative happening in the world to turn off the news and put on an old movie or TV show… and escape even if just for a short time to a slower, simpler place. For example, in the early 90’s there was a sweet BBC series that ran only one season named “Mulberry” after the lead character played by Karl Howman. (see the blog for more)

It’s the latest thing. Name your baby after a vampire! Actually parents of baby boys appear to favor werewolf names over vampire names.

The Doctor is the perfect role model: He’s opposed to violence, he’s smart, he’s funny, yet he still sometimes screws up and makes mistakes. He doesn’t, however give up, and when he stumbles, he learns from it.
What is Steampunk?
Since having a baby I find I’m not keeping up very well with the latest trends, be they fashion, entertainment, literature, politics or technology. For example I only recently became aware there was this thing called “Steampunk”.
