Actually we bought her the snowsuit for our Thanksgiving trip to visit family in Buffalo this year. It came in hand there and now here. Hope life in the frozen wastelands is going well? Probably colder here in Dallas today.
I feel your pain! I am in Maryland and the schools have been closed on and off for weeks so that I had cabin fever for a while and had to wear ear muffs indoors to stop my eardrums exploding from all the kids’ screaming. But touch wood we’ve had no snow for a while.
I know a lot of parents are feeling cabin fever. Hang in there. For us in Texas it’s a bit more rare, so having daddy at home during the week was quite a treat for all of us. ๐
Thanks, D. I must give my wonderful wife credit for finding a like-new snowsuit for her at a local consignment store. We figured she’d use it once in Buffalo,ks NY, for Thanksgiving, but it’s proven quite useful.
LOL. I’ll have to teach her how to shovel snow… we’ll nip that “snow is fun” thing in the bud, Esther. ๐ Actually we all enjoy it as long as we don’t have to drive. It’s the ice here in Dallas that makes things rough, not snow.
Thanks! She was having a ball. My wife gets credit not just for the photo, but also for buying the snow suit at a local kids consignment store. We went to Buffalo to visit family for Thanksgiving, and it’s come in handy not just up there. ๐
Hey, Jenn. I went to undergrad university up in Georgetown, so Austin by definition was our old weekend stomping grounds. Not much snow as I recall. Glad your daughters got to enjoy some. Have a wonderful day!
They always remind me of that film “A Christmas Story.” I distinctly remember being so padded in my warm snow suit as a toddler that I could barely walk. LOL.
What a sweet picture! And memory too! We have yet to really have a good snow in Washington (Western – that is and NOT in the mountains). Usually we have at least one a year, but nothing really impressive this year. Blah….
Yeah, if you’re near the ocean up there in the Pacific NW it really moderates the temps. Of course the mountains get plenty. We usually get about one a year, too, but the last couple years it’s been crazy for Dallas.
Hi Rosie. Yes, she had a ball. I took her out before my wife got up that morning… and then she took her out again later which is when this photo was taken.
Wish I could take credit for it, but as you’d no doubt figured out my wife took it. She’s great at capturing these moments. And I’m so glad for it. ๐
Yeah, both last year and this year we got way more than ever before. And she loved it both years. I’d guess you got a bit more than us, though? Thanks for the complement on our daughter. I kinda like her. ๐
I love Texas Snow Days ๐ Even more rare down here in austin than Dallas area but it’s always cause for celebration at our house. I feel for those who have been snowed in FOR WEEKS though… funnier still is that today I’m back in flip flops and capris ๐ Gotta love Texas weather!

She is so cute! I can’t believe she has a snow suit in Texas. Normally you wouldn’t even need one for the 2 weeks of “bad golf”.

I am so glad she has a snowsuit. It looks like she loves to get out and play in the snow.

She looks like she’s having a blast! Unlike most of the adult attitudes toward the snow. ๐

Beautiful! She’s loving the snow! The news is talking about snow here in ATL tonight, but we’ll see. BTW, I love that snow suit.

Thank you so much, Bella. I’m forced to agree, but may be biased. ๐
Gotta love those snow days in Texas. Love the photo! My daughter’s saw snow for the first time last week and they LOVED it.

There is just nothing cuter than a kid in a snow suit!
