Do you enter each year to win the HGTV Dream Home? Personally I don’t usually enter things like this where the odds of winning are so low. I don’t buy lottery tickets, and when I’m in Las Vegas on business I don’t gamble. But I do enter to win the 2015 HGTV Dream Home Sweepstakes every day.
How about you? Do you buy lottery tickets or gamble on other things? I guess at least when it comes to entering to win the Dream Home in Martha’s Vineyard the only cost is your time? Of course, our time is worth something, but that momentary fantasy that flashes through my mind is worth it to me.
Do you ever think about what you would do if you were the winner of the HGTV Dream Home 2015? Is it silly that I actually think about whether I’d keep the house and move the family to Martha’s Vineyard? And conversely think about whether it would make more sense to sell it and invest the money?
Given the odds of winning are so low, why spend the time considering what you’d do with the Dream Home if you one? Well, in my case it comes back to the point that it’s fun to dream if just for a moment about what it would be like to win. I believe largely we make our own luck. But hey, ya gotta dream.
