What if you could do something simple; something that would literally save lives, right now, today; what if it would take only a moment of your time and cost you nothing; would you do it? I am a member of #TeamStrength (I’ll tell you more about that in a minute) and we are competing for more than a $150,000.
Here’s all you really need to know. The Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio area Cadillac Dealers have put up this money, and YOU get to vote for where it goes from among six great charities. While it will only take you a minute, that minute may give years, even decades of life to someone fighting cancer. Here’s how:

If you don’t want to know all the details, but just want to help, here’s the drill. Go to the Metroplex Cadillac Dealers Facebook page and vote for the charity of your choice. While I’d like you to vote for TeamStrength (more on that in a second) the thing that matters is you vote… vote early and often… every day thru the end of October.
So why is my team called TeamStrength? I am representing a wicked cool charity named the Love Hope Strength Foundation, an international, music-centric cancer charity dedicated to saving lives, one concert at a time. Their mission is to save lives, right now, with the advances that have already been made in cancer care.

LHS has traveled the globe to Mt. Everest, the Empire State Building, Mt Fuji, Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt. Snowdon, Machu Picchu and Pikes Peak with musicians such as, Donavon Frankenreiter, The Bacon Brothers, Dashboard Confessional, The Fixx, Squeeze, The Stray Cats, Gin Blossoms, Big Country, The Levelers, Fastball and more.
The foundation was co-founded by cancer survivors James Chippendale, CEO of CSI Entertainment Insurance, and Mike Peters, front man of The Alarm. What these two guys and their team and voluteers have done is amazing. As I said, LHS does not fund cancer research, rather they use funds to save lives right now by:
- Building and supporting cancer centers around the world,
- Building international marrow databases through their GET ON THE LIST campaign and,
- Building awareness of global cancer needs through film and music.
And now it’s your turn to help. All it takes (and please mark your calendar to do this daily through the end of October) is visit the Metroplex Cadillac Dealers Facebook page and vote for the charity of your choice… I’m hoping you’ll pick TeamStrength, but there are some other GREAT charities on there.
