I Voted – Did You?

I Voted Today - Did you?

Early voting is open through Friday here in Texas. It took me 10 minutes max to get in and out. Whether you vote early or join the mad crush next Tuesday, please be sure to have your voice heard. If you don’t vote, I don’t want to hear your voice after the election! Just sayin’…

Real Men Change Diapers

I suspect my late father never changed a diaper. He as a great man, but he grew up in a time where fathers were less involved in such matters. I on the other hand pride myself in my ability to remove a soiled diaper, clean, cream the wee ones bottom and put on a fresh one in 30 seconds flat. Sort of a home version of a Nascar pit crew challenge. The only think about being a modern dad that’s bothered me is carrying my wife’s diaper bag when my daughter and I are out and about together. We’ll I’ve taken matters into my own hands and crafted a solution…

A Daddy’s Birthday Gift

My Mother and Me

Many, many years ago in a land far, far away… well, in Florida… a baby boy was born on this day. My father who took this photograph of my mother and me, passed away before he was able to meet his beautiful grand-daughter. If he can still see us, then this morning he saw my barely two year old girl sing… really sing… “happy birthday to you” to her daddy.

Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Humor?

Scrubbing Bubbles® Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner

I am all for anything that makes household chores easier, especially those involving the inside of a toilet bowl. As a new daddy I do quite enough of poo cleanup. Yes, real men do change diapers. The new Scrubbing Bubbles® Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner is great; what I find disconcerting, however, is how well the Mad Men at whatever ad agency came up with this product seem to know me…

Social Networking Overload

Social Media Overload

I often don’t know if I’m coming or going… but apparently if I post my status in all the right places my “friends” will. Are you starting to experience social networking overload and burnout? Or do you thrive on all of this? What sites do you use and/or recommend?

Baby Kisses Komodo Dragon – Wordless Wednesday

Baby Kisses Iguana

“Baby Kisses Komodo Dragon” – Welcome to my first Wordless Wednesday post. Photo credit goes to my wife. This was taken at the Fort Worth Zoo. My daughter is quite an affectionate little girl. She plants kisses right on our dog’s nose, too. Enjoy. Sorry if this was too many worlds. I’m new to this.
