If you won an HGTV Dream Home, where would you like it to be? I must confess, until a few years ago I was completely unaware of HGTV’s annual Dream Home sweepstakes. Well, truth be known, I was totally unaware of the HGTV channel altogether. Is that a guy thing?
Anyway, my wife introduced me to their giveaways (they are also giving away a “Green Home “each year now), and I’ve been entering ever since. Hey someone’s gotta win right? That said, some locations pique my interest more than others do. How about you?

All of them are my dream houses and even all people dreams to have their own house as like those.. Thank you for these ones..

Good point, DynnaLou. I certainly would not turn down the chance to win any of them. There are a few I particularly love, like the one in Sonoma (where my wife and I spent our honeymoon).

I could picture myself that I lived in that cottage in Camden:) By the way, all of them look pretty cool! Unfortunately, I’ve been living in a small flat for decades, so it would be really nice to win any of them:)

I hear you, Judith. I’d certainly not look a gift horse in the proverbial mouth should any of these be offered to me. I’ve been to Camden, and that would be a super place to have a cottage. My fave is the one in Sonoma. It’s on a little side street just blocks from one of my favorite town squares, and minutes from some of the best wineries in CA.

These dream homes are really fabulous and stunning. Love to have Beaufort, SC. That’s my most favorite.

Hello. I am from New Jersey. If i won, i would go to Mexico, Florida. I luv the beach, and prefer a warm climate. It has been along journey, since i got divorced yrs ago, and lost my home, and everything i ever cared about. I learned alot, i picture myself in a beautiful home. Never give up your dreams, cause dreams do come true……

I have been following the project closely sinse its announcement. I like many other are very excited. we have blogged until I’m tired of reading.What I’m really interested in is, when does the contest begin? Lets get going and get those juices of chance flowing.I am as I’m sure so many others are so sure its there turn to win this time. I must have enter 1000 times over the past 2 years since I became aquainted wigh HGTV Dream Home,and all the other products and shows that are associated with it. So let the action BEGIN!! When can we start entering???

Hi, Clay. I’ve no affiliation with HGTV, but speculation suggests it will start shortly after Christmas this year (before New Years). My wife got me into this, and it is fun to dream. Best of luck to you!

The contests begin each year on New Year’s Day after the Rose Parade and the accompanying special broadcast on HGTV officially opening the house.

Do you enter? There was one (the Sonoma house) that I’d have moved across country to live in, though most I’d probably sell them after a short getaway there.
