I recently wrote about how our 3½ year old daughter has suddenly started giving daddy fashion advice and suggestions about better ways to wear my hair. The latest suggestion (well, more of a demand, really) was that I shave off my beard. She said, “Disney princes don’t have beards.”

I prefer bearded men, myself, but I realize I’m in the minority there. My dad always wore a beard (I never saw him shave) and my husband shaves very infrequently. Maybe if he had a fancy razor like this one, he’d shave more often… but I like it when he keeps at least his goatee if not a full beard.
Actually, I wouldn’t mind a new hair clipper for him – his vibrates badly and I hate using it when I’m cutting his hair.

My husband uses the old Gillette blades since I know him, I think he finds the electrical shavers too expensive, and he’s sceptic with their results. I think he would give it a try if I won this nice one!

I’d get the Philips Norelco SensoTouch 3D Electric Razor – 1250X/40 for my dad. He’s getting on in years so his hands are not as steady as they once were, so I think the GyroFlex 3D system together with UltraTrack heads and SkinGlide technologies would help give him a close shave with the least effort.
